Artwork Guidelines...
Quick Tips and Handy Hints:
- Avoid large areas of ink coverage
- Keep text size to a minimum of 8pt and convert all text to curves/outlines if sending artwork in vector format
- Keep lines to a minimum thickness of 0.5pt
- Please specify fonts, colours and any other information you would like to appear on your product(s) with your order
- Don't forget to check the print area of the product
File Formats:
- Please note all file formats must be compatible with Illustrator CS2
Vector Images - SUITABLE
- Adobe Illustrator version CS5 or below (.ai or .eps)
- High Resolution PDF
Pixel Images - UNSUITABLE
- Jpeg (JPG), Tiff (TIF), Bitmap (BMP) and Word documents (DOC) are not suitable unless they are high resolution 300dpi at 100% size
Pantone Guide
- For products that are screen printed, we will ask for a Pantone colour reference for the print colour for your chosen product.
- Pantone colours can look different depending on the colour of the product that is being printed on and it is not always possible to get an exact colour match
- To assist with colour choices, the illustration below shows how some standard Pantone colours may reproduce when printed on different colour products
- As you can see, the background colour can influence the final print colour and this should be taken into consideration when selecting a print colour.
